Longqiu pagoda
Longqiu pagoda is one of Chaozhou the Eight Great Scenery. Former is the stone tower on small continent of north Chaozhou, Han River build in Song dynasty. Under the tower is the luxuriant forest, has elegant and quiet temple, reflect with surround sights, composing a beautiful landscape, first named ¡°tower tied with boat¡±, named because boat often like to tie here. Also because there is ¡°dragon beg Qiu fount¡±, so also called ¡°Longqiu pagoda¡±. Story about Longqiu tower:
It is said during Ming Wanli year, Chaozhou officer want to establish tower on two sided of Han River to guard rapid flood. It is said people undertake this two towers is a famous architect and his prentice. Master establish phoenix tower by himself, prentice establish Sanyuan Tower.
