Xiaomi
Xiaomi as Chaozhou traditional nosh, in past feast, it is often as nosh.
Resemble rice in Chaozhou, come of ¡°Shaomai¡± of northward. In past northward, has a food take meat as stuffing and flour as skin, this nosh sold by peddler in street. Due to northward is cold, so when selling this nosh peddler put it in small cage, warm it with furnace, so this nosh called ¡°Shaomai¡±. Later ¡°Shaomai repot to southward, some places named it as pronunciation, so has the name of ¡°Shaomi¡±, ¡°Xiaomi¡±, ¡°Xiaomi¡± etc
Facture of skin is very finely, require middle is thicker, around a little thin, and turns anomaly chrysanthemum shape.
Stuffing of Xiaomi is also rich, bare pork, plain boiled pork, and fresh shrimp, bamboo shoot grain, and adds refined salt, pepper, white sugar and lard etc, when eating dip some catsup dish.
Xiaomi turns small column, above extremely like a lovely small chrysanthemum, very beautiful.
Chaozhou Xiaomi and Guangzhou Xioami are different on facture, stuffing of Guangzhou Xiaomi is all meat, but Chaozhou add some fresh bamboo shoot, in this way is not greasy and more delicious.
